The Vow (2012)

The Vow

Directed By: Michael Sucsy

Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum) are a happily married couple who face a challenge to the vows they made. Their wedding vows are tested when a car accident puts Paige into a coma. When she wakes up, she doesn’t remember him but remembers her life prior to meeting him. The story is of Paige trying to piece her life together as she remembers it- going to law school and engaged to another man while Leo tries to win back her love.

The movie is not recommended to be watched with children as it has language and scenes not suited for them. But for a couple, it does touch the heart strings as a husband tries to keep the vows he made even when his wife does not remember him or want him. It is based on a true story which does increase its inspirational value. The wife never regains her memory but does the husband regain her? Watch to find out!
