This recipe is a great nutritious snack for the whole family. It is packed with flavour as well as goodness. It uses atta instead of maida and has banana which has potassium, dietary fiber and Vitamin C along with other vitamins and minerals. So eat to your heart’s content…guilt free!
Ingredients:
Whole Wheat flour/ Atta– 1 cup
Eggs – 2
Sugar – 1⁄2 cup
Oil – 3⁄4 cup
Banana – 4 (ripe and mashed)
Baking powder – 1⁄2 tsp
Baking Soda – 1⁄2 tsp
Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
Milk – 1⁄2 cup
Combine the dry ingredients and add the eggs, oil and mashed banana. Mix well; add in the milk slowly and mix till you get a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a greased dish and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 °c for 30-35 minutes, till a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
