Healthy Dates & Walnut Cookies

Ingredients

Dates: 455gm (Cook with little water, drain well and chop fine)

Icing sugar powder: 230 gm

Oats: 150 gm (Dry roasted)

Butter: 170 gm

Walnuts: 60 gm (Roasted with little butter and crushed coarsely)

Baking soda: 1tsp (5gm)

White Flour (Maida): 170 gm

Salt: a pinch

Method:
Mix roasted oats with flour, salt and baking soda. Cream butter with icing sugar until light and fluffy.Gradually work in all the remaining ingredients together. Make desired shapes and bake in a pre-heated oven Baking time: 15-20mins or until golden brown Baking temperature: 160/ 170 C
